What should I wear?
Wear something that you feel comfortable & confident in! I'd recommend avoiding loud patterns for portrait sessions as they draw the attention away from you & your face. If you're having your session with others, I'd recommend coordinating, but not matching. For example, having everyone in shades of blues or greens.

Where will we have our session?
I only shoot on-location. Where we go is up to you! We could do our session at your home, your favorite place in DC, your favorite neighborhood, etc. When you set up your session, I'll be happy to give you suggestions based on the vibe you're going for. Travel outside the DC metro area does incur a travel fee.

Why dahlia?
Why not dahlias?!? They're my favorite flower: strong, but delicate, graphic, yet whimsical. I also think that the best images have these four characteristics, so it seemed like a good way to describe my photography.
